Well, we made it to Beijing!!! Too bad we can't say the same for our luggage! About 100 pieces of luggage did not make it onto the China Southern flight -- the story we're told is that the plane was too heavy, so they left some luggage behind! I PROMISE -- it wasn't my suitcase (alone!) that was overweight. Anyway, we hope to have our luggage Sunday.
Zoe was the perfect angel on all THREE flights we took, and had no trouble hiking miles between gates. As soon as we touched down in Guangzhou, she starting smiling because she was so happy to be in China. She pulled out the necklace I made her with pictures of her new baby sister -- I had to remind her it wasn't until Monday that we would meet her new sister! We're tired, and off to bed. More later. |
