I wanted to let you know a little more about the flight over to China. We took the China Southern flight that leaves LAX at 11:20 p.m. (which was 1:20 a.m. our time!). We were in "Premium Economy" class and the seats were wonderful -- we ALL slept, and I never sleep on airplanes!

Zoe spent most of the time entertaining herself by pushing all the buttons on the remote control for the little television in front of each seat, turning her light on and off and on and off and on and off . . . . and inadvertantly pushing the button to call the flight attendant -- two times! This was about the time I confiscated the device! Zoe also slept (with a little help from Saint Benadryl!) for about 7 hours of the flight. If it hadn't been for the luggage snafu, I would have rated our flight experience an 11 on a ten-point scale. And thinking back on it, maybe it WAS our luggage that put the plane over the weight limit -- what do you think?

(Think charitable thoughts -- after all, we're packing for 4, including Maya!).
